I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but there has been a substantial increase in mainstream media coverage about organ donation since July 18. Hmmm... so who really follows whom. Ha. Congrats to everyone again ... ! I hope the trend continues. :)

Great idea!

Maybe sports bloggers could put out the feelers for local organ donation success stories who have gone on to participate fully in physical activities and sports and then do a write-up.

Organ Donation is something I have been interested in for years. We had an article on organ donation as early as 1999 on the Journey of Hearts site.

just posted now. the thing I feel that would make most difference is if we put pressure on governments to go for an opt-out system, as in many countries in Europe, rather than the opt in system that prevails in US, UK, Ireland and Australia, among others. Read more here:
