   Are you referring to a free hosted WordPress. com blog on the multiuser blogging platform?
   
   Or are you referring to a self hosted WordPress. org software on your own domain for which you have purchase wen hosting?

   Setting the forgoing differences aside for the moment there are know issues.
   (1) Blogger does not wish to give priority to facilitating their users who are leaving the blogspot platform. Hence the export program that's in place is not regularly updated to meet the standards required for an easy import in all cases.
   (2) The size of the export blogspot file can be problematic. If it's large then it must be broken down into smaller files for importing purposes. To use the wordpress importer, you must have a Google account and an upgraded (New, was Beta) blog hosted on blogspot.com or a custom domain (not FTP).The first thing you need to do is tell Blogger to let WordPress access your account. You will then be sent back to your wordpress dashboard to complete the process after providing authorization.
   (3) If your images are NOT hosted on a third party site but are on Blogger servers then they will not be exported and you cannot hotlink to them. Therefore every image must be uploaded individually again to each post.
