   It would be interesting to find out why a potentially mythical wizard from the UK living during the dark ages ended up being buried in France...does anyone know?

      Well there is evidence to suggest there was actually a Welshman named myrthin who the wizrd Merlin was based on, Myrthin wasnt a wizard but a dark fortune teller of the future (he even told of the worlds end) so potentially means definately not the wizrd but potentially a dark welsh fortune teller from the dark ages! If that makes sense :S

      lol the wizard Merlin is mythical, the man Myrthin was real so yes the wizrd is mythical the man he was based on is not....YOUR CONFUSING ME lol

      yeah it was the same confusion to me... but in that french region (Brittany) they speak about Merlin and Lancelot as part of them... strange but interesting to see...

      Merlin the Wizard - Mythical
      Mythrin - Real (Merlin was based on Mythrin like many tall stories passed down through the ages the powers of Mythrin were converted to that of a wizard)
      
      
      In short there was a real man and history catapuled him from being a fortune teller into a great and masterful wizard....please tell me I make sense now!
