Memorial group invitations on Facebook were my first notification that Michael Jackson had died and the news was later confirmed via CNN. Having never really been a huge fan of Michael the news did come as muttered shock. Whether you loved him or hated him, one thing can not be denied – on 25 June 2009 the world lost a Pop Icon! His death had me wondering – How did he die? Was it natural causes ,a heart attack, painkiller overdose or did all the plastic surgeries he had finally caused his death? There remain so many questions not only about his death but also about his life…

Its either stress related or an accidental overdose on painkillers!
  2. CataVorbeste
I have read that he received an injection with a painkiller and this caused his death
  3. cuteptaguy
Heard the same thing about the painkillers. Guess we will know soon, the autopsy is being preformed today and results will be made available soon.

I think he was taken out by the CIA. I have no evidence but I'm going to say it anyway because that's how this works.
    1. cuteptaguy
SiuilARuin, this is how conspiracy theories start. Why would the CIA kill Michael?
    2. WillIAm2009
Cos he knew who shot Kennedy!
    3. Epicharis
and he was in the tunnel when Diana died...
    4. legbamel
It was Michelle Obama's order. She'd told Barack that if he moonwalked in the White House one more time she'd do something drastic. I bet he feels really sorry now.
  5. cuteptaguy
Not really funny you guys ;-)
    1. Epicharis
I was actually taking the piss out of you lot speculating on how he died with absolutely no evidence.

I'm gutted that Michael has died. It was my lifelong dream to be fiddled with by a white black man wearing one glove and a surgical mask. I have now bought this full school uniform for nothing, it's not like they will take it back now it has been stained.
    I feel empty and cheated.

      *smacks forehead*

Too soon Anin. Besides, I think we are all trying to remember the Michael Jackson at the top of his game when he was the biggest pop star in the world.
    2. aningeniousname
Oh he was a popstar as well was he?
    3. flamingpoodle
In Michael Jackson's last will and testament, he asked to be melted down and cast into LEGO so kids could play with him for a change.

aningeniousname I am adding you to my friends. You are sexy as hell.
    1. aningeniousname
I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or a bad thing given you have a woman's lips and your name is men. But it is oddly arousing I will give you that.

My theory is that the heart attack was due to anorexia. He's been looking increasingly thin, and given the body image issues he has had regarding his skin, his face, his nose, anorexia would not surprise me at all.

It also put considerable strain on the heart, and would explain why he's passed out publicly before, too.
    1. flamingpoodle
No, it wasn't a heartattack. Michael Jackson died from food poisoning. He ate 12 year old nuts.

What happened or the reasons why he died, or events leading up to his death is irrelavent. He is at peace, and we should be remembering the great things he did with his life, not the error or mistakes and struggles he had along the way. He gave the world a beautiful gift of many great songs. I am thankful for his music, as personnaly I have enjoyed his songs at times in my life, whether it was listening, dancing, or whatever. I am happy that he will finally have peace in his life.
    1. ThriftShopRomantic
I consider errors something valuable to learn from-- my own and others. It's a part of being human. We're all a whole package. That's what makes us interesting.
  10. F4wrdthnkndad
While his cause of death is a mystery, it seems unlikely that it was from "natural causes." And am I the only one who wondered if the title of his final tour, "this is it," was his way of preparing us? just asking.
  11. ramith1985
what ever cause him death at least now he can rest in peace without media,Paparazzi, lawsuits etc...
  12. cuteptaguy
I guess we will know his true cause of death in 6-8 weeks time. I have found that many people including myself are still conflicted about Micheal's guilt or innocence on the child sex abuse charges. Guess we will now never the truth.
  13. WillIAm2009
He died because he stopped breathing! Quite simple really!
    1. cuteptaguy
I think he died due to a pain killer overdose. The family attorney went on CNN and stated that he warned Michael & his family about this and swore that if it ever happened he will speak up which he did. Guess we will have to wait 6-8 weeks to hear whether he is right.
  14. SutekhofNJ
Demerol killed Michael Jackson, among other emotional related problems.

    thelifeofabundance.com/blog/?p=113
  15. Alcomum
Yeah I heard the toxicology reports will take 6-8 weeks. But they will probably find that he had a coctail of legally prescribed drugs in his system, which won't help and will be quite scary for other people who have to take prescribed legal drugs...

And isn't there still some controversy because he had his own private physician on site but he did not go the the hospital and has not spoken to the police etc since?
  16. freeatlast
His funeral should be a blast to watch... in all seriousness... just think of the people and tributes and festivies.
    1. cuteptaguy
I can second that, everyone who's everyone is going to want to attend.
  17. Alcomum
apparently the family is now considering a public funeral according to sky news. how long after death does a funeral usually take place in the US?

Michael Jackson did a full costume rehearsal for his O2 concert the day before or 2 days before his death. The complete rehearsal was professionally recorded as well. The question is will it be released to the fans?

As for me, I am crushed. It feels like part of my soul has been taken apart from me. I feel empty at one side. This man has helped me a lot during my rough years. He saved me from suicide even.

I'm waiting for the funeral date and hopefully the Jacksons family will allow the fans to pay their last respects to him. I would like to attend the funeral as well.
    1. Alcomum
hey - where did you get that info about the rehearsal being recorded? That is something a lot of people would want to see.
    2. jjmezzio
Alcomum, it was informed by AEG, the concert organizer.

Hold on. I have to go for a few minutes.

He is a musical wizard and a true legend. His sudden death is full of mysteries, like his life when he was alive. He will live in the world of music for ever-eternal.
  22. cuteptaguy
If the rehearsal was professionally recorded that recording will be worth a hell of a lot of money!
    1. Alcomum
definitely! and would be well worth seeing.
  23. cuteptaguy
I hope if it does exists that we will all be able to see it sometime in the future! Let's keep our fingers crossed!

It is always sad when someone dies...especially perhaps,
because they did not take care of themselves...or others in their life, were unable to intervene.

Michael Jackson appeared to have so much...yet he was unable to manage it all...I wonder what his relationship was with God?

I hope now Michael finds happiness and peace...and feels lots of love. He was an amazing entertainer...
I Posted on my blog site yesterday...about him... He recorded a song entitled "Childhood"...hear the song and read my reflections...

Im not sure how I feel about all the media reports about him. I think it will be like any other big name that dies under iffy circumstances. Someone will always say he was deliberately over dosed or that he was on this or that drug. Then the spin from his family/agent/the Rev. Al will start.
The only thing I have no problem believing now is that he's worth more dead than he was alive. That just makes me sad.

I'm choosing to just remember him singing One Bad Apple on a 45 I played on my pink record player in my bedroom as a kid.

    Photos from his last rehearsal:

The June 23rd rehearsal was recorded in high definition, from various angles and high-quality digital sound. So, it may well be released.

The question is, how much will my friend Bret get for a Michael Jackson designed vintage arcade game?:

It appear that a combination of things maybe caused his death. Painkillers, stress, possible skin cancer, especially the shots. The shot supposedly was a narcotic treated for pain. For anybody that knows medical terms, that was a slow death for Michael.. Read my blog about him and his memory.

The medication combo being behind his death should not be a surprise to anyone. I hold his DR's responsible.

With news today about MJ parent's wanting to take custody of his children, I wonder what is going to happen to them. What will be best for the children?

"Alcomum - hey - where did you get that info about the rehearsal being recorded? That is something a lot of people would want to see."

The info is well known amongst most Michael Jackson's fans. We were informed many times by the AEG staff (concert organizer); Randy Philips, Kenny Ortega and others.

We just received few photos from the rehearsal too.

    Also if I may,

There was an interview held with Michael Bearden, the Music Director of This Is It O2 Concert on 98.7 kiss fm.

Below is the summary of the interview. Thanks to urbansoul17 from MaxJax.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

I was listening to 98.7 kiss fm, a radio station from New york. A radio show called Open Line which is considered Black radio talk. But the show is exception because they talk about real issues. Today, they of course dedicated the show to talking with people who were close to Michael and who worked with him. This is information that you won't find on CNN or MSNBC or tmz for that matter. All three hosts of the radio show show unsurpassed respect for michael.

On the show they had Michael Bearden who was working very closely with michael for THIS IS IT. He was quite upset, as all of us are, but provided the truth as well as some exclusive information that perhaps we would have never known about.

He said that despite all of these reports on the news, that you hear everywhere else, first and foremost, Michael was in TOP physical shape and he said that Michael was very well read as he knew a great deal about politics, music, and technology. He discussed that Kenny wanted to introduce him to MJ because wanted to work with him on the tour. Michael Bearden is a musician, and kenny wanted him to be the musical director for TII and he knew that michael would love his energy. They brought MJ into the room as Bearden played a funky version of Workin Day and Night on the keybord. Right away, MJ started dancing and singing on the spot. Bearden describes that he had exceptional energy.

They talked and worked every day (except sundays) on THIS IS IT, even though that the rehearsals were not everyday. He said that Michael was very intelligent and he doesn't understand how these recent stories even take from and how these "sources" come about because they completly contradict what michael was. He says that they were working for three months on this is it, and that Michael wanted to extend these shows to encompass 3-5 years. Bearden laghingly said that " we were kind of trying to hold the brother back because of all the things that he was trying to do with the show" when asked about reports that michael was exhausted and forced to do these shows. He said that Michael was so happy all of the shows sold out so quickly, and wanted to take this to another level. He said that the true meaning of "THIS IS IT" was not that these are my last shows, MJ just said that to tease his fans, but the real meaning was that "this is our last chance to do something about the world and the environment before it is destroyed." This is it so we better do something. He said that hopefully they can show us what michael was doing for these shows in a short period of time, and that they are trying to release the footage of the rehearsals and everything.

When asked to describe the last night with michael jackson, he said that they were working from 5pm to 12:30 am. Michael held meetings, they were taking care of all of the technical stuff, and then after that, from around 10-12:30am, michael went through most of the numbers, some of the one's that he really wanted to work on. He said the band was increadible, the dancers were great, and that Michael had so much energy, he was focused, and he sang and danced exceptionally. And that when it was time to go, he had to wait for michael because his bodygurds car was blocking his, so he went to michael's dressing room, and Michael said that he was happy, and said "I'll see you tommorow at 2 o'clock sharp, God bless you.

Then when bearden was asked what the one unique thing was about michael, he replied "michael's kindness" He said that michael was genuinely king and that he genuinely care about people and that that's what made michael great.

I loved Michael's music, but he was a pathetic man. Read this interview with his former nanny entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/music/article659... and it's clear he was addicted to prescription drugs. I am sure that it will come out as soon as the toxicology reports come out. Hopefully now his kids can lead normal lives.
    1. jjmezzio
What you read was a tabloid. The interview contradicted with the autopsy.

Also, Michael knew what he was getting into as he wanted to lengthen the concert to 3 years+. Which is common as his History World Tour went for several years as well.

Statement by Grace Rwaramba (The Nanny) Regarding Michael Jackson

The following statement is by Grace Rwaramba:

      June 30th, 2009

“Michael Jackson was an exceptional Human Being. He was gifted, deeply compassionate and brought joy to the lives of so many. He loved his family dearly, and above all, his beautiful children.

In addition to being my employer over the past 17 years and entrusting the care of his beloved children to me, he was my dear friend. While our friendship had challenges, as do all friendships, he was loyal to the end. I cherish and honor his memory.

I am shocked, hurt and deeply saddened by recent statements the press has attributed to me, in particular, the outrageous and patently false claim that I “routinely pumped his stomach after he had ingested a dangerous combination of drugs". I don’t even know how to pump a stomach!! In addition, I have never spoken to the Times Online, the original source of the story that has now been picked up worldwide. The statements attributed to me confirm the worst in human tendencies to sensationalize tragedy and smear reputations for profit.

I convey my heartfelt and deepest condolences to Prince, Paris, Blanket and the entire Jackson family. The pain and sorrow I feel over the loss of Michael pales in comparison to what has been taken from them forever.”

      - Grace Rwaramba

Too many hangers-on around Mr. Jackson set him up for failure. There was no one around him to say 'no' or 'stop'. Nothing but yes men.
    1. cuteptaguy
That comes with the territory. That's why I believe he truly didn't have any true friends at his side to tell him his life was getting out of control. With my psychology background and my work I do now, I believe that to be his greatest tragedy.
    2. exit2013
Plus...where was his family? His siblings should have been there for him. If you can't trust family, who can you trust?
