    Woah, fantastic news!!!!

See, international bloggers can help make a difference by bringing these sorts of judicial abuses into the limelight. Now I hope that Moroccan human rights groups can use this legal victory to press for a change in the law that allowed this to happen in the first place.

I am not sure international bloggers made the difference this time - but I am sure it helps. New media is the new democracy. Discuss.

I was reminded of this guy who twitter to break free. I haven't quite got my head around twitter yet. Maybe I should some of the places I go.

I blogged about his plight, and I saw a number of other bloggers do the same. Our posts may not have ha any impact but I still feel good about the small contribution I made.

As for discussing new media as the new democracy, hmmm, I definitely agree, just not sure how. I think we need to brainstorm some of the ways we think new media is equating to democracy.

Some one should send a virtual beer www.beermonthclub.com/sendavirtualbeer.asp or pizza www.pizzasbypost.com/order.php3 to The Moroccan court of appeals in Agadir

      Well, maybe not.

      Thanks for keeping us informed!
