Are you more fun now, or when you were a kid? Or are you one of those that never changed? Also, please let us know what it was that either made, or makes, you fun.

      Your link drop is not.

I want Jason to get you.

You know, I didn't understand until this morning the black silouette profile pics. They are for people who continually link-drop. That explains a lot.

Still, I am glad the conversation got dredged back up. I'd posted it very late and forgotten about it. I'm probably more fun now because I can set my own curfew.

I'm never fun, and never have been.
    1. DaniG
      You lie like a rug!
  3. MissSuzie
I'm more fun now because I don't give a fcuk.
    1. crpitt
      Ohhhhhhhhhhh snap
  4. crpitt
More fun now, I was too serious/miserable as a kid.

    Now I don't give a crap
    1. MissSuzie
Your answer looks a lot like mine.
    2. crpitt
That is what I meant by 'oooooooh snap'

Do you not say 'snap' your side of the pond?
    3. MissSuzie
Yes, I knew that was what you meant and felt compelled to reply on your answer. Shoot me.
    4. crpitt
      Ohhh you little bugger!

Much more fun now. "Fun" being relative, most people would probably consider me fairly boring, but personally I enjoy being spontaneous & getting out to enjoy nature. I also have a great sense of humor.
  6. dbowles1017
I'm probably more fun now... but having less fun...

Take your phone, DB, and dial the singing telegram center nearest you and apply for a job. Then, you'll have all sorts of funny stuff to post and your fun-factor will improve. You could probably start a whole blog dedicated to the stories you could tell.
    2. dbowles1017
True, but they would be more about my horrible singing then anything else

If you cannot hold a tune, it's stripper-gram-dom for you. You'll want some beads....and a feather boa.
    4. dbowles1017
Why do women keep telling me I should be a stripper or join the sex industry...
    5. DaniG
It's the horns. They send our minds that direction....

Plus, you've not exactly been plentiful with your other job skills. Not once have you mentioned that you mop floors, clean carpets, shoe horses, tutor Spanish or settle lawsuits. And we're all suspicious of your use of handcuffs....
    6. dbowles1017
Haha, the horns always get the blame...

I can cook and clean. I don't have any hand cuffs. Rope is a lot for versatile.

I'm much more fun now than I was when I was sprog. Those were dark days indeed.

Dooooonnnnnn!!!!! The celebrity old-ster! Great to have you here!

      Loved, loved, LOVED your blog!
    2. DaniG
My 83-year-old dad is even enjoying your blog, but he wonders which grand-kid of yours is helping you with the posting. He is very suspicious that the guys his age can easily overcome all that gizmo-metry.

So thanks, for giving my dad a belly-laugh....
    3. DonMills
      Thanks Dani,

I've had some help but not from any grandkid of mine. My younger brother, York, has given me a few pointers and my neighbor's lad has spent some time helping me out. I was surprised to find that it's not that complicated.

Pass on my best regards to your old dad. And tell him to start a blog - I'm looking for other oldsters to link to!

      All the best
    4. DaniG
Not that complicated? You've got to be kidding. I'd rather give birth again...TWICE!!! To 11-pounders.

Then again, I did it the hardest possible way....

      Kudo's to you!

      D.

Def more fun now...the booze and drugs have definitely proven to be a step up in the fun factor.
  9. lifeshighway
More fun as a kid, responsibilities weigh you down.
    1. DaniG
Yeah, there were merits when the parental units paid the bills....
  10. sjtavo
definitely more fun now than as a kid - for one thing, i have sex now. LOL
    1. DaniG
I bet you were a lot of fun as a kid, too, sjtavo!
  11. nothingprofound
I've had an easy life so far. It's all been great.
    1. DaniG
You do deserve the "most upbeat" award....
  12. TheBoomerMuse
Now. It's taken several lifetimes to enjoy life now. I was too serious as kid.
  13. amybyrd21
Now because I let my kids bend the rules and dont go off on the subject. I am much more giving and just roll with the flow now that I am away from my parents

I think it is more fun now, since the time I was mature enough to understand how to get fun for myself in life. :-) We have a famous Vietnamese song with the famous sentence of its lyric: Everyday, I choose a happiness...By that way, we can live with fun (happiness) during our life, can't we?
When I was a kid, I had funs too, like playing with kitchen toys, reading fairy stories, visiting or chatting with friends...They were clear and simple funs, which could not last long in life of a person, right? I think I have got less fun in "the middle stage", the time when I had to learn (or "be taught" :-) ) "a lot" to become a mature person from a kid :-)
    Just some sharing. Cheers!

As the famous movie line goes, I'll be here having fun as usual. Very little has changed since I was 18, although that was 20 years ago. But here's the thing: I don't think this is necessarily a good thing. It's just been the way it's gone for me.
  16. skyvalley1437
Little mistake made more fun but now big mistakes makes little fun...Its easy to decide

    Ivan: You're good.
    Jason Stillwell: I get better.

More fun now. I've had more practice. :-)
    1. DaniG
      Practice makes perfect, they say!!!
  19. jeremyjanson
Way more fun now. I drink whiskey, party all night, actually engage in real conversations. When I was a kid I just read books all the time.
  20. Firkroy
I think I'm absolutely more fun now, I go with the flow better, and enjoy using my wit to thwart my enemies...... not that I really have any real ones. However, I do frustrate some knuckleheads on a few online games.
    1. DaniG
Love the using wit to thwart enemies. As kids, the wit is not that developed, so often got whipped in such pursuits! Hahaha!
  21. LRK
More fun then...now i am so focused on work and forgot how to have fun...
  22. legbamel
I still have lots of fun, just not the same kind of fun. Leaving out my mopish teenage angst, I had a blast as a carefree kid and as a hard-drinking party girl in my twenties. I also have fun as a grown person, with my kids and with hubby (again, in very different ways).
