More Google traffic because of more content

as you all might know, the google crawlers are visiting your blog more often when you posten frequently new content.
In my opinion, this should also work out with comments cause comments are content.
What else is interesting about comments, is that you can leave a link to your blog.
Well, it would be a kinda spam when you are leaving it in the comment field but most blogs offer you a field where you can fill in the url of your website, so your name in the comment will be linked to it.
I thought it would be a good idea to start a little discussion where everyone is posting a link to an entry where he/she wants to get some comments on.
Let's give it a try. Here is my recent entry:

Just some general feedback and rules.
Most of the users over here, got it and they left comments on my blog. That's why they received also a comment back, except of these that are not accepting comments without having a blogger account! Please make sure that people can leave a comment without signing up.
But there are also users in this thread that are just posting a link and telling the other "please comment me".
Guys that's not the way and it's not fair.
First of all you have to leave comments on the blogs of the people that posted before you. Then they will comment you back!
Put a little effort and work into this and the other community members will be glad to comment you back!
So be fair and comment the other users before posting in this thread!
And please only one link, to one blog!

If i'm not mistaken, isn't comments have 'no-follow' tags that restrict the crawlers back to your site? Or is it just on blogger platform...

this is a great thread that is both helpful and enlightening at the same time. jus wanted to say this for now and i'll slowly leave comments. thks guys. this is needed esp for ppl like me who is literally illiterate on blogging, traffic and referrals and all.

It is true that you can leave a link your blog, but you use the "no follow" attribute so Googlebot will not follow any of those links back to the commenters web sites. Thus, nobody will get any credit for those links left in the comments section here. googleblog.blogspot.com/2005/01/preventing-comment-spam.html
I see that you are leaving comments on the other blogs, which will help those bloggers. -
The nofollow attribute sucks to be honest. It is a half baked and heavyt handed approach to dealing with spam.
People that write meaningful comments should be attributed some credit, and a measly backlink is the least that should be available. -
