When I pulled up the play count on my iPod, I wanted to see what song I listened to the most. The top song was from the soundtrack "The Greatest Game Ever Played". 230 times according to the play count.

Well, I must say I enjoy listening to classical music when I'm reading or writing.

What song would have a high play count in your iPod or MP3 player?

I have a walkman, LOL. I need to get modernized. But, as for a song I've been listening to a lot lately, it's been Jully Black's ... 7 day fool

Thanks for sharing DrowseyMonkey. I will have to listen to Jully Black's ... 7 day fool. A walkman is a name I have not heard in a while. I must admit that I still have two turntables and my 12 inch record collection. Nothing like the crackling sound of the needle hitting the record.

At the moment it is Legions Unleashed by Graveworm. It changes often, I've been listening to a compilation of Beethoven's piano pieces all weekend.
    1. rswallerjr
Nice. I feel the same way. My lists changes from time to time. Thanks flamingpoodle. Just came across some old house music, so will probably listen to that all this week.

I'm addicted to the This American Life podcast and old Ripley's Believe It Or Not radio shows from the 1930s. Either one usually takes the top spot! My first place for actual music is dedicated to Clair de Lune by Debussy just because it is such a powerful song. Good discussion!
    1. rswallerjr
Thanks PsycheofAphrodite. I see I have to put more podcasts into my rotation.

I don't have any. But I have been playing "Magic" by Olivia Newton-John a lot.
    1. rswallerjr
Olivia Newton-John. Sounds like good stuff. I hear she's engaged as well. Thanks mikeny07.

Of the 499 tracks on my LastFM chart, my top two are Taj Mahal's "Squat That Rabbit" and The Clash telling everyone that "Julie's Been Working for the Drug Squad". Maximo Park, Southern Culture on the Skids, Saffire: The Uppity Blues Women, and another Taj Mahal song are tied for third.

This doesn't include the songs that I listen to on my mp3 player, as it doesn't sync with the site, or the songs that I listen to through the Hype Machine.
    1. rswallerjr
Sounds like you have quite a few tracks in the rotation legbamel.

I am getting her album for Christmas. First on my list. I can't believe how good she is. She is the most talanted artist I have seen in a long time. Totally stunning the first time I played her songs.

Thanks voodookobra. I see Slayer is still holding it down strong.

I worship The Cure so it's tops on my list. Friday I'm in Love makes me want to jump and dance up a storm even though I'm a terrible dancer. I even posted it on my blog, so check it out. Light My Fire is another all-time favorite. I want my song upbeat and catchy and daring enough to push you overboard. Billy Joel's You May Be Right is another great song to listen to. Serious songs are just not for me.
