I'm really getting bored with my statistics. My top performing keywords are "January" "October" and "about". (They come from Windows Live.) I know we get odd hits from odd keywords, but these are just plain inane. I wonder what these people are even looking for...

First off, you can pretty safely ignore any keyword data in your logs from live. They actually hitbot sites as a part of their "quality assurance". I can say with nearly 100% confidence that none of this reflects any real, human traffic to your blog.

Look at the keywords your logs sugest from Google and yahoo!, then refactor the data for the reduced total number of incoming organic referrals.

better still, install your own referral tracking and instruct it to discard live before it even does the calculations.

I would love to discard it... I'll have to see if the tracker I use allows it, as I kinda like the rest of it. I have several trackers going just out of curiosity, but I like this one for other functions it has.
