Is is a real mouse or it a funny lump of old dough? It's mousey shaped. Guess they'll need an xray to see if there are any mousey bones inside. The man who discovered it has already settled for his gross-out.

I don't see any fur and the baking process is not hot enough to burn fur off.

It was Despardeaux hanging out with his bro's, gettin' high! LOL!!!!!

Scientists say it was "starch buildup," nothing mousey except the shape. See urbanlegends.about.com/b/2008/11/07/mouse-in-hot-dog-bun-update.htm for the results. BTW - one guy thinks it was an image of Jesus!

    Poor mouse!
  5. wehireu
Horrible, eating a mouse is probably better for you than eating a hotdog with all the carcinogens in hotdogs.

omg... this picture ruined my breakfast...

Wanna know what's grosser than that? my boss at work once made me fish a dead rat out of the toilet with a pair of tongs.

What's grosser than that? She didn't let me throw the tongs away.
    1. busylizzy
She could have made you use your hands...

I hate bosses who think they can ask for non-work related things just cause theyre the boss.

When I worked in the office of a very tiny light-industry company, I was asked to 1)proofread and retype his teenage son's essay for school, 2)type up a brownies recipe so that it fit a certain size for his wife, 3) type up the family letter and print out copies, to be inserted into their personal Christmas cards. I received a card with (my) letter in it which was really weird!

Definitely better for your than a hot dog....

I didn't look and my instinct was telling me hoax or attempt to sue a company, but I agree with others, a mouse probably healthier that all the stuff they put in hot dogs

If that's real, then that's disgusting. If it ain't real, that's still disgusting.

    1. busylizzy

  15. gentledove
I'm just having a bit of bubble and squeak for supper
    1. busylizzy
Too funny! I am imagining a little mouse trapped inside a soap bubble, floating up into the sky! I forget what "bubble and squeek" is but I remember from my daughter's geneology project last year that's it's something from England... BTW I have a question for you, assuming we are across that pond from eachother...bangers and mash - does the word "bangers" refer to what I think it does (what the sausage looks like)?
    2. gentledove
Bubble and squeak are like the left overs of christmas dinner all mashed up and fried, bangers, if you don't prick the skin when sausages are frying they pop.
    3. busylizzy
Let's get my mind out of the gutter!

I was going to say it looked like moldy dough.

Even still, mouse shaped moldy dough *ugh*.

I don't think it's a mouse. The features aren't quite --detailed-- to be called a mouse. It looks more like a clump of discolored bread.

*-There should have been a stinking smell of dead flesh. There was none reported.
*-There should have been traces of burned flesh. Not even blood was found.
*-The back part of the 'mouse' is flat and furry. Dead flesh does not behave that way, if it was a REAL mouse, there should still be a curvature there and not total flatness. Only bread behaves that way.
    *-Its shape is uneven.
*-There were no visible eyes. Mice have cute little glittering eyes.

I guess that lump of old dough didn't fool you!

    If it was real...

    *vomits..

Actually this is a quite well known phenomenon called mouse bread tumour, it's caused by cancerous yeast and drops of mouse urine in the dough. it's actually very common in the baking industry.
    1. busylizzy
      Now you're grossing me out!
    2. busylizzy
I googled "mouse bread tumor" but got zero results
    3. arwentaylor
      Ugh gross.

Too me, it looks like someone planted it there as a joke or something. But you do have to ask the question of how did it get past quality control.

Hahaha. Guess everyones going to have to eat tacos now. Don't you even THINK about eating me.
    1. busylizzy
Now you are sounding like the Gingerbread Man!
  21. jeremylong
    1. Is it just a joke? nauseating...

    2. I love cheeseburgers, amongst all burgers!! Haha

    Cheers...
    1. Frankz0509
It's a prank. It doesn't even look REAL.

Guys, eat tacos or biscuits. Don't think of eating MCB. Poor guy.
    2. busylizzy
I love tacos - especially the greasy, nasty ones from Jack-in-the-Box (if they still sell them-I might be dating myself). I also love biscuits, especially when we went to my grandmother's house. I'd drench mine with honey.
  22. curlydesigh
    that's gross
    1. busylizzy
I hope you are saying the mouse issue is gross, and not the fact that I like to drench my biscuits with honey!
