Hi,
Is there a way to change the blog address for my old posts to my blog on my new server? They still show up with the old address, but those posts were deleted and moved to the blog on my new server.
If you go to the page where blogcatalog says they are, you get a "page not found" message. I only kept the last post on the old blog which says moved and has a link to the new blog. Searches from Google also still go to the old blog pages, even though I set the privacy for the old blog to not allow search engines. I registered with Google and put a sitemap on my blog on the new server, also.
Thanks! :-)

I'm thinking that you may want to contact thegoodknife and ask for his advice and assistance www.blogcatalog.com/contact/

This is what you find when you click "help" and follow through the links:
[BlogCatalog uses Autodiscovery to determine your Blog's RSS Feed. Please allow up to 2 hours for your site to be crawled for new RSS data.
You can also use BlogCatalog's XML-RPC interface to automatically ping BlogCatalog from within your weblog software. Simply add rpc.blogcatalog.com/ into your weblog software's configuration for Pings and Notifications.]
I have added the ping notification url to my blog and have had no trouble at all with updating. Have you done this?
self-hosted wordpress instructions:
Dashboard --> Settings --> Writing
scroll down to "Update Services"
paste rpc.blogcatalog.com/ into the box provided
Click "Save Changes"
I hope these instructions help you but if they don't you can contact Admin using the link I posted above which I got from the bottom of this BC page.

Hi crpitt, I just now checked back here. My new blog url was approved by Blog Catalog, but they aren't showing any posts on the new url. They just show posts from the old blog url (that I deleted on Blog Catalog) which takes you to a "not found" page. I'm going to try to contact Blog Catalog today to see if they can fix the problem.
I also added the Blog Catalog ping notification to my blog. Maybe that will help. Thanks, Timethief.
