   Eraserhead is a film I've been meaning to see for so long. I love David Lynch. May check out Salo at some point, if I have the stomach for it. Heard [Rec] was good.

   Fascinating idea. In your front page I was able to get a glimpse of many movies I have never seen nor heard of.
   
   However, I do desire more of your personal take on it. For example, a majority of your content is reminiscent of a summary that could be found on the back of a movie box. What I wanted was more of your reaction and more of your emotional responses. The only movie I've seen on your reviewsite is Kill Bill (i am certainly not a movie buff as you can tell). I don't really want to hear about the directing style as much as I want to hear how the movie made you want to pick up a katana and slice people. Does that make sense? There are two aspects that I can think of regarding movies. The heart. And the brain. You touch the brain aspect well, but I am left desiring more of the heart aspect.

    my 2 cents:
    
    1. in that post "weekly recommendations" you could add more info about those films - movie poster or dvd cover, a short summary (may be offical or your own), genre, cast, director, etc. plus give some links - trailer, official site or imdb, some reviews.
    
    2. don't use labels that have no use - e.g. whale, squid, little, iron, bill, and so on. such labels can't tell readers anything about the movie - it's pointless adding them.
