I think that test is quite flawed...it doesn't define any of its categories so you're getting quite an inaccurate estimation of personalities because it depends on the individual's definitions...

Of course it's flawed. All of these tests and quizzes I post are flawed and vague. And every time I post one even when I have used tags like "fun" and "entertainment" in the past there are always members who provide this kind of feedback. I think the best approach to take is to view it as a "fun" thing and not as being "definitive".

My scores were 94% for Reflective and Complex, 64% for Edgy and Agressive, 1% for Fun and Simple, and 26% for Energetic and Upbeat. I think that the category names are misleading, as I like edgy and upbeat music that is also complex (I think edgy and complex go together more). The Energetic and Upbeat description isn't particularly accurate for me, either.

They put heavy metal and punk both under edgy and aggressive. Punk is fun and simple in my books, which is why I dislike it. Heavy metal is complex, reflective and aggressive, so that explains that score. I'm surprised my score for fun and simple music is so high.

Go for it! I took the test twice. I know what I like and what I don't like. My problem was deciding on degrees of appreciation or lack thereof ie. if some genre is a 3 or a 4 or a 6 or a 7 to me. The most difficult choices for me were the edgy & aggressive and fun categories.

I've chosen the classical and metal music at 7. That's why i got 90% for edgy and aggressive music. But it's in direct contradiction with my personality. Because i'm a calm and tolerant boy.

Yes! I saw that--you had two different results, based on your mood between the two days. Not suprising--mood can definitely affect psychological testing, which is why I am kind of against them for job interviewees. They have their place but I feel they sometimees have validity and reliability issues.
