My Blog visitors have been steadily decreasing

Topics: blog promo
Well, this is a very shameless blog promotion.
I don't know why, I had an increase when I first joined blogcatalog but nowadays my visitors graph has been going downwards. Have I exhausted all the supply of people from blogcatalog who might be interested in my blog? Or maybe it is because of the bad colours and layout?
I wonder.
Anyway, check out my blogs:

And leave your blog address here in this discussion if you want me to visit. Who knows, I might like your blog too.

Oh, I am sorry to hear that, maybe you should try other promoting ways, I think video is the best way to increase visitors. You can create some good videos and upload them to video sharing websites like www.youtube.com, metacafe.com, www.dailymotion.com, www.w3clip.com, etc, I think you will get tons of traffic if you use this method correctly.
Good luck! -

Your amigurumi on your blog is gorgeous.
I've been there a few times, and no, I haven't got my crochet needle yet.
Don't know what I've been doing with my time lately.
I have to say, though, that the image for your avatar here looks a tiny bit freaky. Maybe it's because it's so small and you can't see the details...
Maybe you could go with something cute & pastel?

I was looking for a thread on this topic..
Has anyone else noticed a significant drop in hits since May? Since last Summer, my hits had built steadily, and May was like a brick wall. June is my first 'down' month. I'm still getting an ok number, though, ahead of last year. I thought this was something unique to me, but I checked the public counters on a bunch of blogs. Some related topics to mine, some not. Almost all hit the wall at the same point toward the end of May. Is this a regular cycle, perhaps having to do with weather -presuming most of your hits are in the U.S.- or schools and colleges being out? Anyone else?-
Yes, I saw a dramatic drop in visits and comments wihtin the last couple of months? I wouldn't take it to heart or wrack your brains trying to figure it out. These patterns don't always have anything to do with your blog per se, which is a very nice looking blog by the way. So hang in there and just do the best you can and things will pick up.

You should look beyond blog catalog for readers. When I promote my site www.womanist-musings.com/ I go to other feminist blogs and comment. I also enter as many blog carnivals as I can monthly. The more you get your blog out there the better. Also by going and commenting on other blogs it will encourage others to come and check out your blog. Don't comment for the sake of commenting make sure that what you are saying is relevant.

I think the trend might continue over the summer .. kids are coming home for the summer and parents not surfing as much, trying to enjoy the summer.
Hold on! keep and maintain, and try to plan something for September - at least, that's what I am going to try to do.-
I started on blogspot in May 2005 and I couldn't get off of Blogspot as soon as possible? I think it's still there actually .. I see some odd google adsense trickles from that site lol .. and, I moved mid-July 2005
PetLvr.blogspot.com
Now, I'm on a dedicated server and have over 60 blogs .. but, only about 25 are active and 15 are current with posting (others whenever I make the time) It's time consuming, but I see the trends.
