One thing that the GritFX team use our main domain for is to provide a "directory" to all of our major blog posts.

There's a page for Decoy's Music Reviews; a page for Wadrick's Movie Reviews; a page for Max Drake's Weird Stuff posts... and a page for MY PHOTO COLLECTIONS

Part of my contribution to the blog is a weekly "camera critter" post - and now I finally have a page set up on the GritFX site which showcases all posts to date.

What do you think?
Do you like this kind of directory, or would you be just as happy searching through an "archives" list generated by the blog?

Coming from a dog, I think its a good idea though find the orange text doesn't match the overall feel of the site.

The other thing that's slightly annoying is that each time you click on a post it opens up a new window.

I guess you can choose to right click and open in a new window if that's how you want to use the list... so maybe the new window script should be removed!

Thanks for the feedback. It won't fall on deaf ears

If you can it would be better if you could have all the content on the same (main) domain.

I still don't understand how a blog with all it has to offer (ie, comments section) can work on a regular domain...

      Can you educate me?

I'd much rather have the content on our main domain server - and backed up and safe!

You could add Wordpress, Droopal, Joomla or equivalent to a subomain of you main domain. e.g. www.gritfx.com/blog

The key thing is the services that your server/ web host can offer because these types of blog tools or content management systems require database access to store stuff like comments.

Have a look at the requirements for self hosting Wordpress and you will see what you need. TT knows loads about wordpress.
