My day for dumb questions

I am having such difficulty with my new blog. It is driving me crazy.

If someone clicks to leave a comment it takes them to a 404 page not found.

I even switched themes to see if that could be the problem.

Apparently that isn't it either.

No idea what I am doing.

It has nothing to do with comments. It's your permalinks. Specifically, your .htaccess file is not working correctly. Make sure your .htaccess is writable, and update your permalinks.

  I don't have a .htaccess file No idea what to put in it or what to do with it when I get one.
