- I will leave it too you to read the following and assess your own blog. Here are some factors that come into play when PageRank plummets:
If you are blogging for money then PR can be a major issue. Having paid links on your site will compromise your blogs Page Rank. Once your site has a higher PR then higher paying writing opportunities become available to you. However, if your write for services like ReviewMe, Text Link Ads, Smorty, and PayPerPost then it’s important to understand that Google doesn’t like paid links, if you have them and if your site doesn’t indicate them with “nofollow” or, if you’re active on the Internet selling links on your site then your PR will suffer.
It’s Google’s search engine and they have every right to say that if you sell links, they might penalize you. Google is not telling site owners what to do with their sites. Google is telling site owners what to do if they are concerned about doing better in Google PageRanking.
If you don’t care about Google and PageRank then get involved with services like ReviewMe, Text Link Ads, Smorty, and PayPerPost, and sell all the links you want. But if you don’t want your blog to be harmed in Google PR updates then don’t sell links and don’t link to sites that do.
Link exchanges with non-related sites and too many link exchanges are also factors. If your web pages and the site get a lot of reciprocal (two-way links), especially if they are not related then the search engines will assume that these are solicited links, and search engines do not give much importance to such two-way or reciprocal links and may even penalize your site.
Additional factors that can cause your PageRank to plummet are:
linking to bad neighborhoods;
linking to link farms;
using auto-submit services to post your blog to multiple directories and RSS display sites without PageRanks, with low PageRanks, or that are considered to be link farms;

duplicate content;
plagiarism;
posts that lack substance and/or unique content and links to authoritative sites;
lack of quality backlinks from authoritative sites.

My blog one of my blog didn't drop in PR because it was 0, but all the keywords dropped while the link counts increases.
I guess Google recently had a algorithm update and soon they will ban all site that has link building practices.-

- I sincerely doubt that sites where webmasters and bloggers are using "white hat" SEO link building practices will be penalized by Google. In fact, I see no grounds at all for making such a statement. IMHO the situation is the quite the reverse.
Those sites where "black hat" SEO techniques and "gray hat" techniques are employed are definitely on the Google chopping block, as well they should be. If it wasn't for unethical website owners, managers, and bloggers continuously gaming the system and trying to end run it, then Google would not have to keep changing their algorithm.
These days we can all witness the abundance of ebeggers, and those who lack expertise in any niche, and yet have stables full of free-hosted blogs full of low quality and no quality contents, and covered with advertising. They are obviously being pimped out for profit.
I witness unethical SEO techniques being used on such sites every day, and as I can spot sites that are kept by bloggers who intent on gaming the system for pennies and bucks, then I guarantee that Google is likewise aware of them.
BTW in case you or any other BC members haven't absorbed exactly where I stand on the issue of unethical bloggers wailing the blues when they get caught gaming the system then know this -- I am strictly a white hat SEO blogger. Blogging is my passion and I won't even pass a crying towel to the lamers and wailers, who are corrupting the blogosphere for nickles and dimes.
