well explained material. I am one of the few people who have taken time out to read Kawking's history of the universe and his book on black holes. I also took astronomy in college just for a fun course. Well written. Ill be back to that one.

"one of the few" might not be precisely accurate--those books have, together, sold well in excess of 10 million copies (which, of course, does not account for those who borrowed the books, bought them used, checked them out from the library, etc.) -
sold and read are entirely different, take the bible for instance. I bet half the people with a bible have never read it.

I don't know about half, but I'll definitely agree that there are a lot of people who own Bibles and haven't read them. I think it's a bit different, though, because there are many reasons to own Bibles other than reading them from cover to cover (whether they're good reasons or not is another issue). While there are undoubtedly people who buy these (and all other) books with the best of intentions and don't read them, or buy them to put them on their bookshelves and look impressive, I doubt that they comprise a significant perctentage. Even if they do...let's use the number you yourself threw out in relation to the Bible...50% would mean that more than five million people had read one or both of the Hawkings books.

So you mean topic wise as specific as children of substance abusers or just of an abused child? I found a number that deal with children of people with mental disorders, as I am (bi-polar family and I somehow escaped the disease, and the pain they caused), which (to me) is similiar as often times such parents delve into alcohol and drugs as well. I'm still figuring everything out, so don't have a definitive list, but found huge blogrolls out there dealing with such things.
Yours is a very well-written read. -
I liked the chapter style you took on. Easily transformed into a book that way if you ever considered publishing it. Makes it easy to follow as well

went to yours last night when I saw it elsewhere. Im amazed at the traffic and comments you manage to pull on most of your posts. You writing style and sense of humor is very similar to mine. Unique content too which is something I strive to do. We should get together and write a post or two on something and compare views.

In this case, simple is way way better. I was a bit turned away by the ads but the posts were great. Not a ton to read so I can browse quickly if Im in a hurry and some great content as well. That is the kind of material that interests me.

sure. I commented. Good blog. There are a lot of tech blogs out there, but I like how everyone has their own style and specific topics that they cover. I haven't came across too many simiar posts. Most of yours were unique. I also like your banner. Very simple and doesnt overwhelm at all. Thanks.

Great blog(s). You have a really great descriptive writing style. I also have thought about doing a blog about my dreams but it seems that people would think I am weirder than I already am. Also I only have one about once every 2 weeks so it might be hard to keep readers.

One of the more unique blogs. Movie deaths deserve their day in the spotlight as well. Id say the dramatic moment when Arnold takes the plunge into the molten metal in Terminator 2 is my favorite but he came back in T3 so I guess it isnt really a death.

I would definitely agree. I try not to let mine suck but people have different opinions. What is great for one is crap for another. A lot of blogs people visit a lot dont appeal to me but the ones I visit dont appeal to others.
