My page rank is finally 2!!! YAY!

After a year of hard blogging and redesigns and tweaking... I am finally getting some page rank...because my blog has very general subject matter I guess it is harder to rank... but I finally have a PR of 2... and I am thrilled! I also just saw that my technorati authority is 106 which is nice since for the entire year it has been 1 Things are looking good!
Anyone else struggling to get some PR recognition? how are things going for you? what have you tried?

It is a measure of your relevance and reputability on the Internet according to Google, measured by (among other things) how many other relevant and reputable sites that link to you.

If what people are searching for is on your blog, yes, but PageRank alone is NOT what determines where Google displays you in search results.

The only strategy I have is always make sure I link to older posts in my new posts and to have have outgoing links to relevant or similar sites with high PR. -
Well,I don't know what a pr is,and I guess ya can't miss what ya never had,but WOOOOOO HOOOOO for U!!!-

Mine is now 3 but it's a specific niche so yes Congrats PR 2 is good if you are in general field -

What is your reason to use blog? Just for you, as a passion/hobby - then you don`t need of PR, SEO, backlinks and all these kinds.
If you use blog some like a business, to obtain earnings, then you`ll need to learn the rules of "the game".
All things are more simple after we understand its. PR is important, but is only a tool - don`t forget that, it can`t decide what we accept in our blogs, what backlinks building we use, what keywords or anchor texts we choose...
In BC I shared some real things, from recent practice after a long time of testing and intense learning, which I think could help many members from here to understand more:

As long as Google keep the PR algorithm, this will be important. But it`s need of all things to be done correctly. All links from there send to sources with quality details, some ot these even unique, about many webmasters still don`t know. ...And are free. I hope to be helpful for you.

Congrats. Am thinking of making the PR of my blog personal skin care to 6. -
Right on. Nice Work. I hit PR 3 recently. Traffic hasn't changed much but I have cut back on my posts a bit as well. Good luck going forward.
