So many other DeCaprio movies you could have picked WHY this one?!

      1) Departed
      2) Blood Diamond
      3) Gangs of New York

      Just to name a few.
    2. anarooscorpio
Well it's not the movie itself but was the time the movie shown and how it played an influence in my life.
  2. ArsenicCookies

I can see the first 2 movies are French. I have several French movie collection but I don't have those 2 yet. I've seen Seven Years in Tibet though. It's good!
    2. mountaincat

    The Shawshank Redemption
    Star Wars
    Godfather
    1. roguedeals
Godfather really doesn't do anything for me. Not sure why. Same with Scarface... I'd rather watch other movies like it... I liked Casino more.
  5. Rayabi
    Crying Freeman (1995)
    The Fountain (2006)
    Lady In The Water (2006)

    Life is Beautiful

    Chocolat

    Like Water for Chocolate
    1. anarooscorpio
Oh how can I forget Life is Beautiful, Russell Crowe should have won the Oscars for Best Actor. Better performance compared to his Gladiator.
    2. acousticguitarist
Wrong Movie. That was A Beautiful Mind.

This was an Italian Movie www.imdb.com/title/tt0118799/

      Chocolat www.imdb.com/title/tt0241303/

      Like Water For Chocolate www.imdb.com/title/tt0103994/

Oh I'm sorry. I got the titles mixed up. Of course I love Roberto Benigni's La Vita Bella.
  7. HalfCrazy
Damn, this is hard as I have a lot of favorite films. Here are the ones from the top of my head:
    1. Atonement (Keira Knightley, James McAvoy)
    2. Mean Girls
    3. Gone With The Wind
    1. roguedeals
I really can't believe I'm seeing Gone with the Wind and Mean Girls on the SAME list. hahaha.
    2. HalfCrazy
Well now you believe it! But you're right, it's odd seeing them on the same list LOL.
  8. roentarre
    Shawshank Redemption

    Gone with Wind

    Grease
  9. jolasu
    Jerry McGuire
    Mr. & Mrs. Smith
    PS I Love You

Many more, but those three come to mind quickly
    1. roguedeals
I'm shamed to admit (being a guy) that I really liked P.S. I Love You. It was really good, even if it is a 'chic flick'. No to mention the 300 guy is awesome.
    2. HalfCrazy
The 300 guy is Gerard Butler and yeah, he's awesome! Great performance by Hilary Swank too. Haven't read the book yet, though..
  10. CoyoteRose
    1. Star Wars
    2. Indiana Jones: Raiders of the ark
    3. Clerks
  11. roguedeals
    1) Bourne Trilogy
    2) Total Recall
    3) Gone Baby Gone
    1. HalfCrazy
I loved Gone Baby Gone! My favorite character would have to be the lost kid's mother LOL. She's too messed up!
    2. roguedeals
T'was good indeed. I was torn between Gone Baby Gone and Training Day as my 3rd choice. I love them both
  12. phantomelen
    star wars, all of them
    indiana jones, all of them
    demolition man
    1. roguedeals
The last indie movie ruined it for me... how ridiculous can it get. No character development (how cliche can an evil character get?) and I just can't stand the Even Stevens kid.
  13. enhancephotos
too many to list.. I will think of my top 3 though
  14. dsriharsha
My top 3 movies are all Indian which you guys might not be familiar with..

  16. Stillthinking
My favorite movies of all time that I can watch over and over and over again, but not necessarily the BEST movies

    The Haunting (classic b/w version-chilling!)
Groundhog Day (Bill Murray has never been better)
    Young Frankenstein (it's Franken-shteen!)
  17. anarooscorpio
Kate Winslet finally got her Oscar's Best Actress Trophy. After 5 nominations, her 6th this year produxed a good results. I'm happy for Sean Penn also.
