Well...after spending the weekend in the ER and then Peds ICU and then the regular floor of the hospital...all is ok. Nathan has a black eye and that's about the extent of it at this point. Amazingly, of the many things that could have gone wrong...not one of them did! Call it luck, call it the cumulative effect of good wishes...I will accept both with appreciation and gratitude.

Thank you BC community for being so very kind!!!

Thank you! It was a long weekend. After participating in this level of healthcare...it looks like I should probably watch the new movie Sicko. Love, love, love nurses!!!

Oh, I don't know-- I'd say you might want to give yourself a BREAK from healthcare for a little while... No "Scrubs," no "ER" reruns... :-)

Or Grey's Anatomy!!! LOL. Actually, I think there will be a lot of Disney/Pixar film for another few days. EE

Glad to hear he is ok, young children are able to handle a lot more than what we think they can, I think a lot of adults could learn from children and how they go about handling pain and accidents.

glad to hear - the medical profession have always exceeded my expectations whenever i've dealt with them with regard my own children - they have our eternal thanks - more than we can say.
