shameless link dropping! Happy Easter to you too.
    1. timethief
Not one of those links are to my blogs ... lol
I thought some "light" Easter entertainment threads would be preferable to the never ending litany of religious threads.
    2. timethief
"fir" everyone - I'm laughing at my typo in the title

The Q for you TT is whether you would have reported someone for adding 5 links at the start of a discussion whether or not they were that person's blog or not?
  2. seanmc980
Dang TT, If only you posted this last night! I will bookmark for next year =)
  3. Stillthinking
Why aren't the super religious folks in church today? \

    HYPOCRITES.
    1. timethief
The superficially religious will always be with us, and BC membership appears to include an abundance of them posting to forum threads on any given day of the year.
    2. Stillthinking
I will fully admit, the reason I am not in church today is that I don't believe that God cares if we go to church on a random Sunday in April to celebrate the resurrection.
    3. timethief
      What resurrection?
    4. TonyB
Why do you guys have to attack other people whether you have the same beliefs or not? This is a community and the discussion area of the community. It may not be clear however one of the main goals here is to have some sort of respect for each other.

Moreover, if you really want to have a positive influence on people with your knowledge then don't slam them in one sentence and expect them to be grateful when you give advise or link to a bunch of resources in another. This is the problem here and if it doesn't change then admins will make a change for BC's membership.

I'm spending my "Easter" at home on a peaceful rainy day in Albuquerque, looking forward to writing a new blog post (not about Easter), sorting through my craft materials, and later watching a movie while I crochet something

    Happy April 12, everyone !
    1. timethief
Hey that sounds like a great time Jan. Have a wonderful day.

Hello! I've just looked into the webpages you suggested, interesting. In our times we don't dye eggs, as we used to, but I'd like to return to this custom. Have a nice Monday, which in Poland is a day off(thanks to Easter time :-))
    1. timethief
Hi Margie. Best wishes to you for a happy long weekend.

Eggs schmeggs. Rocks. Try dying small white river rocks with a standard PAAS vinegar based kit. It is loads of fun and interesting to see what porous rocks soak up the color. I made a few granite rocks look like kryptonite. Superman, look out!
    1. annz
That's a cool idea! I'd been wanting to try the silk tie dyeing method, but no one in my house eats eggs and I hate wasting them. Though I also don't want to dye over the natural layers and striations in rocks. Hmmm, what else can I dye? (looking around the house. the cat? maybe not)
    2. gtally
But it's really cool how the veins in certain rocks pick up the color. Go on, try it; don't hesitate. People dye rocks all the time, like geodes and gem stones. Think of this as a home kit.

I don't believe in Easter! But I love the the Spring Equinox!

I love easter for eating the hardboiled eggs etc.. but also easter is also controversial for me as it's the only time Cadbury eggs are available.
  13. wagerwitch
Codesucker - buy a whole bunch of them and put them in your freezer - that way you can have one whenever you want.
