Need advice on my new Theme

Hi guys,
Right now, I am pretty satisfied with my Wordpress theme at:
www.links.com
But, it isn't very flexible, and am thinking about moving to a new Revolution News theme, which will look something like this:
www.revolutiontheme.com/themes/revolution-news
I like this theme because it gives me more flexibility, shows multiple blogs from multiple categories on the home page, has a nice professional feel, and can accommodate guest bloggers. It also seems like it loads faster, though I haven't done an performance checking yet on my host server.
What do you guys think? Is this a good move?

premium theme is flexible, revolution is a good theme nd I have worked with it alot. But you could go for mimbo which is just as good and easy to use and very flexible.

I find blogs based on the revolution theme a little boring visually. -
Thanks. I did look at Mimbo, and passed it by several of my friends. It was well liked, but came in third behind Revolution and Bradford (I Mimbo clone). Thanks for the help.

3rd it does suprise me especially if you go by price, it can do all of what revolution does witha little work.

Yes, we looked at them all pretty closely. They are all good themes, but at the end, it is just a matter of taste. It was pretty unanimous that everyone preferred the Revolution News layout over Mimbo. I think that most people thought that Mimbo was too busy. Too much going on. Revolution News seemed cleaner.

which version would you go for in revolution

Are you talking about Wordpress version? If so, I am not sure. Would you recommend 2.3 or 2.5.1. 2.5.1 still seems a bit unstable.

I was on about the version of the revolution theme there is a few to choose from.
As for wordpress always go for the most upto date. If your not happy about using 2.5 use a previous version.

Thanks. The Revolution Theme I am using is the News theme. I put a link to it in my post. Everyone thought that it had a very clean, easy to read design with some nice features. Also, Brian has a support forum, that is moderated by experienced designers who help out with problems and questions. I am looking forward to it.
