Need Blog Formatting Help!

I have noticed some blogs have only approximately 200 words in the post. You are then given the option to read further by clicking the link.....how do you set this up in Blogger?

Easy in Wordpress, on Blogger I think it's possible using a trick but don't remember where I saw it, will post again when I'll do
