   By 'video page' do you mean a You Tube widget you added in the left side bar on your blog? That doesn't look scary.

      not a widget. its basically a video link on the top menu bar to a separate page consisting of video posts. I'm not sure if it will alter the attention of my readers and cause them to eventually revert to some other site like You Tube or Vimeo etc

      I personally didn't get diverted by the video. I watched the video in the tiny window and stayed on your blog. So, you didn't loose me to You Tube.

   I am an all pro blogger and deal nearly exclusively in video posts. As long as you have important written information to back up the video, you won't lose readers to youtube.

   It would depend on the video page.
   
   I think in general, it works better to promote the videos and push them to your blog, than get people on your blog to push them to your youtube account. I mean, youtube is google ..
   
   So - that being said, rather than bunching up the videos on one page with a bunch of links .. spread them out in your blog to support the content, or become landing pages that you talk about in the videos .. if that makes sense
