Well, I have decided to Finally take the plunge and move my blog to wordpress, (Currently on blogger) but also to get my own domain. I have been wanting to do it for years.

First question. How can I guarantee not to love my ranking if I move my blog. Not a high ranking (just a 2 pr) however I would like to keep it if I can.

Second question. Can anyone suggest a good domain to use?

Good domain to use? Not sure what you mean.

Chris, my friends have told me about GoDaddy, domain.com, ect...

I am sorry for the wording. I mean a preference that perhaps some has had some good experience with.

I use godaddy myself and only had 1 problem which was the last week other than that it has been fine. A few have transferred over to wordpress recently and there is quite a few posts with how they did it within blogcatalog.

I feel that I want to do something more with the blog. Blogspot does not give me the control I like. I had so many picture upload errors with it I am just getting tired.

Ideally .. unless you start fresh .. probably the most logical way is to create domains like you have now - except, omit the blogspot part. So, if you have 5 blogs now - you need 5 domains. Although it might be hard to translate postaljokes.blogspot.com/ into postaljokes.com as it's already taken.
