Check this dramafest out...

Our buyer decided to take his old job back in another state - and just LEFT the condo and ditched the sales.

We had a realestate attorney, etc. - and we were supposed to be paid off the remainder of the cost last Friday.

So - on Friday - guy calls and says: Sorry - I left the key under the porch, I'm not going back.

Uhmmmmm...

Well he's not getting his down payment back either - we moved super fast for him - and paid extra bucks to move the stuff out faster so that he could move in right away - because he had a guaranteed fund amount being distributed on a specific day...

Anyhow - I have another buyer (my place is really nice) - anyhow - it's going to take another couple of weeks for the loan to process.

BUT - we spent the amount of the down deposit for moving all of our household items out to Maine... LOL... and well - we drove across Canada - and then came here and took family out for a good time - and did all this thinking we were going to be getting a very large lump sum on Friday... LMAO!

Well - learned my lesson - count on NOBODY - count on NO ONE.

So I'm very blessed that we happened to have stayed at my family's house... Because if we had been caught half way through the states without money - we would have been screwed.

BUT - my big fear is that the next 2 weeks it will take to get the money before we leave - will allow the temperatures to drop out in Maine - which will freeze the pipes out there - which means NO WATER at ALL until spring thaw...

AGGGGGGG

So I need some good thoughts - and happy thoughts that this won't take very long - and that this will go quickly --- AND that the temperatures will remain above freezing until we get there...

And that our roads will be good.

PHEW....

That's a lotta good thoughts I'm needing. LOL!

And yeah - we've looked at all of our alternatives...

So we're very blessed and lucky to be where we are when this happened - and we're very lucky anyway to have each other --- and unfortunately there isn't anyone that can go take care of stuff for us in Maine prior to us getting there...

Oh - and not to mention our stuff is going to arrive before we do... LMAO!

Life is lovely...
