Need Some New Thanksgiving Ideas

I've spent many years doing the big bird, football, time with extended family, and so on. This year, it will be just our small family. We can do whatever we want, or we can just carry on tradition. I'd welcome any ideas.
A friend suggested we go out to dinner and see a movie. What would you do?

My wife and I are making a turkey and inviting people we think may be lonely for the holiday... We've done that before and it was a really great turnout.
Also, volunteering for soup kitchens is always a great idea we also do from time to time.-
YESSSSS!!!! I do that to...I even make plates for the guys at my gas station that stays open on the holidays....

Do a smaller dinner,then go see a movie
