Because we here at BlogCatalog know how important it is to have an recent and accurate thumbshot of your site on file, We have added the ability for approved blogs to update their thumbshot.
You may request a thumbshot once every two weeks. In most cases it should take less than 10 minutes for your new shot to show up, and at most 72 hours.
You can get the the new thumbshot management section by clicking the manage tab on top and clicking edit on the blog you wish to update. If your blog is approved you should see a new section for thumbshots.
As always feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thank you! My thumbshot looked pretty boring, what with none of my oh-so professionally made graphics on it.
Awesome job, goodknife and company. You really make BlogCatalog a better place. You're some of the best admins I've ever seen in one of the best communities I've ever participated in (probably because of your excellent efforts

Hi, I've noticed that sometimes here on Blog-Catalog, the thumb-shot automatic update doesn't always produce the output image exactly as expected, and sometimes seems to either have a shot of the page well before the page is fully loaded, or there is no image at all ! I think maybe in future there could be an addtional option for approved members to submit thier own thumbshot image by email or via a browse and upload button on the thumbshot management module, and then having the Blog-Catalog admin update the image thumbshot by hand. At least then, we might get a thumbshot image that looks the way we expect.

I've been manually updating my thumbshot but it continually shows my blog as a blank page.

Can we change the order of our blogs?
