My wife's latest commentary is now out. And she's getting slammed. (I think. Some of the digg comments are very weird.) Since she's out of town she won't see it for a couple of days.

I sure would appreciate it if you had the time to give it a read and a digg if you've a mind to.

It's about being religious without being evangelistic sort of. Or not. take a look and leave a comment. Thanks!

she's got a great article there, i really liked it a lot. (unfortunately i don't do digg either) i stumbled it.

Doh! I could do that too. Here goes.

Thanks folks. She's a wonderful writer, and this weekly thing will no doubt be good for her career. But, although she's getting better at it, her skin definitely needs to thicken up.

It won't be the diggs - but the hundreds of emails she'll finally get to see on Wed. Some supportive, and some from "loving" Christians who will be calling her some of the nastiest names in the book. (Apparently from the wrong book.)

Awesome article and sooo true. Nothing worse than an evangelizer of any belief system. They all make me want to smack them upside the head.

      Use a bigger book.

    Sure I'll digg it now.

Very well written. I've actually never met anyone who evangelizes ... the only place I've seen anything close to that is here, LOL. I guess that sort of thing isn't an issue where I live, I dunno.

One of the blessings of city life?

That's interesting. Apparently you just don't hang around the right street corners.

@Mark - I think it's Canada, not the city. Not a lot of evangelical churches around, certainly not like in the states. Plus, I've lived in small towns/villages. It's just not like that. Or maybe I've managed to avoid the crazies.

@Don - I've had people come to my door about 2 times in my life, I just say no thanks and close the door. No biggie. Other than that ... never had anyone evangelize.

Oh how very lucky you are, believe me. I've been driven to thoughts of committing misdemeanors on more than a few evangelists lol. I had one come up to us in a restaurant one morning and he tried to give me a bible and then wanted to pray with myself and my children before our food arrived!

Let's just say that I was only nice about telling him to get lost for the children's sake.

Seriously? That is one of the most bizarre things I've ever heard! I can't even imagine that. Or imagine the restaurant owner letting someone do that in their establishment! How odd!

Nice to read a true Christian's views once in a while, kudos to Mrs Don!
Loved the St Francis quote too.

Help! I cannot find the spot to leave a comment on your wife's excellent post. BTW I am Digg member and a stumbler too.
    1. Donlewis
Huh. I just hit the little dig counter at the bottom of the article. Maybe I'd better check the link I provided.
    2. timethief
I have no problem at all finding it on Digg. That link works fine.

What I'm asking is where is the "comment" link on the blog post so I can leave a comment on the actual blog post?
    3. Donlewis
You got me. I click on the number count part of the digg counter and it takes me right to the comment section.

TT--You've probably figured this out already, but he's referring to "Digg Comments"

Hahaha!!!! Very appropriate and very interesting to see who is "digging" and stumbling the article about knowing Jesus and making him known through actions. Cool.

Oh Don, you do have character, in the best sense of the word.
    1. Donlewis
And I'm incredibly good looking too. A lot of folks miss that 'cause they get blinded by all the character.
    2. globalgirl
Oh, yes, blinded by the light
