New hairstyles for guys-Hot or Not?

Something that really bugs me are hairstyles I am seeing on younger guys...Beatles-esque hairdos

and "hair pasted to the head" hairdos. These are usually worn by guys trying to be trendy, but they look like shite. To me, it screams trying too hard.

What is your opinion-edgy and cool or crap?
