Done. And I had a pact with each of my friends who were reading it to not say a word to each other about it until we were all done.

I ended up avoiding all threads related to Harry for a couple of days, just in case spoilers were lurking. It's so funny, because I've never done that with any other book-- and I read a lot.

A friend of mine took complete break from the outside world while he was reading HP. No emails, internet, news papers, TV, phone calls, even office! Poor bloke was so scared of spoilers!

I am considering writing a parody on Harry Potter - The Lord of the Rings. Someone please check my writing skills at achingpen.blogspot.com and tell me if I have skills enough to pull this off please???

Only 63--reading one chapter a day with my daughter, except she doesn't like to read it right before bedtime, so on the days I get home from work late we have to read something else.

    I am on page 2.
They called me to watch home movies right after I started it last night. But I think I'm going to read it to Alden- I haven't read a Harry Potter myself yet and I don't think he's ready for such a thick book on his own.

Incidentally, I got a review yesterday from The Reading Tub on my "The Other Side of Yore" young adult book that compared it to Harry Potter, and I have no idea why. The books don't have alot in common, unless I'm missing something....

Anyway, I posted the review on my "On Yore Side" blog if anyone cares to help me figure it out.

Not quite as fast as had children asking for paddling pool to be put up and filled. At last the sun shines in Blighty!

No kids or partner this week - had thought about a Harry Potter Book-a-thon and reading all 7 books. Thanks for stopping by.
