I completed another new painting today. This one's a bit of a departure from my usual, bright colors. Please pop over for a look & let me know what you think;

    Oh, we get sandhill cranes here every year and people make a big to do about it and it makes the news and everyone goes to watch the sandhill crane migration. So I will take a look.

    It's lovely. Wish I could see it bigger - stuck on my iPhone at the moment.

    You are very brave showing the world a painting you have only just finished, I usually have to wait a while before I share!

    Thanks for the kind comments, all. I appreciate the input.

    PussDaddy; I think we're supposed to have them around here (S. Louisiana,) too, but I haven't seen one yet. I saw a couple in Florida years ago. I thought they were statues...until they moved!

    Deray28; Thanks for the comment on my blog.

    Nomadic; I've been painting (on & off,) for over 20 years. No time to be shy now! *L*

    Thanks for all of the comments, both here & on the blog. Although this painting's a bit atypical for me, I think it's one of my faves.
