New Social Search Feature

BC, thanks to theGoodKnife, has launched a new search called Social Search.
It shows you the results of what bloggers on blogcatalog are writing about both on blogcatalog, their blogs and on social networks like twitter, etc.
Please check it out at www.blogcatalog.com/dashboard.search.php?q=food
You can get to the search either by clicking Search in the top BlogCatalog navigation or going to your Dashboard where you will find it in the right hand column.
Little Red Dog, "Stoneman" had this to say about it, "Well that social search button in the dashboard is interesting. I can instantly find other blog posts on subjects I blog about. Good way to connect. Can find what people are digging, stumbling, etc. too. "

Great way of getting more hits and finding topics you are interested in. -
I had bacon today for lunch even though I bought the wrong one. Remember guys to buy turkey bacon. It has far less fat and taste pretty good.
Two strips takes about 2 minutes in the microwave oven. Make it crispy so you can chew it eaiser. Beware turkey cooks faster than that.
Nice to pretend at least I know a lot about food! -

I am happy to say I am the only blog that comes up for "iCarly". Yeah it is a kids show but I like them also.
My blogs comes up for that also with "Leave It to Beaver" trivia. -

Seriously, this is a great toy, but it has an excellent blog promotion application in the most organic sense of the word--it's a great way to find other bloggers who have just written about the topics that are freshest on your blog, so that you can make relevant and informed comments that reach audiences already interested in and reading about that topic--and connect with like-minded bloggers (or those who can put up a good argument for the other side) at the same time.-
Tiffany thanks for sharing your thoughts. Those a great insights into the value of the search. I think you're right that its either a fun toy or a really useful search tool. It just depends on how one uses it.
