Well, as you can see i am new to the blogging world. I am a writer, not a great one, but then again I am my own worst critic. I've been writing for a number of years, but i decided this is a great time to share my work and hopefully it will help someone else find their voice. Feel free to comment and critique my blog it is a work in progress. Any other newbies feel free to post your blog and together we can learn and grow.

I am pretty new also...but I agree with tpvswp...the centered text needs to be fixed...template looks fine to me Good luck with your writing!

I like your writing. You have a very uplifting personable style.

I tend to avoid italicizing, bolding or centering text too much, on monitors it's hard on the eyes and discourages the reader. You want readers to give your words the attention they deserve.

Keep up the good work.

  I agree, keep the font simple and SANS-serif. It is easier to see on all browsers.

Content is good...but the black bacground with bolded white, italicized text - ouch. Same with the neon orange. It's quite hard on the eyes.

I'd go with something softer, maybe a grey text and not bolded or italicized. Or a lighter background. I'd also stick with one style of text/font rather than changing it for each post.

Just my 2 cents ... or 3 or 4.

Welcome to BC! I find blogging to be one of my favorite hobbies. I think it's cool that you start with a picture to set the theme. Then you express yourself.

It looks better now that you switched the colours of the background/text ... but for me I find italicized font hard to read.

Hello. For a newbie, you have good ideas and potentials. I happened to be a newbie myself and I would confess you have a better blog than mine, at least when it comes to presentation. Content-wise, I noticed a few misspelled words here and there, and yes, the italics tend to distract. But I know I would find a much more improved and way better blog in a short time from now. There is plenty of room for this blog to become fabulously great!

nice works.keep it coming.i agree to what other people said,maybe try changing the fonts.i am a newbie too.my blog is still under construction.what a term!anyways TAKE CARE. hope to see you arounnd.
