Hi everyone,

I wanted to use this post to announce my latest blog, Wordpress Modder - wordpressmodder.org

I’ve been using Wordpress for several years for a wide variety of websites including blogs, informational business sites, and full fledged web portals. I have received so much help through the years from many people in the Wordpress community, that I figured it was time to give back and help Wordpress noobs as well as those of you who are more experienced with blogging and website creation. Whatever your Wordpress needs, Wordpress Modder can help.

Please visit the site if you can and feel free to give any opinions, good or bad. I have a long list of features that will be integrated to the site in the coming weeks, but I wanted to start "getting it out there" now.

Nice work. Lots of good info there, but stylistically speaking, one thing really kinda bugs me.

The actual project is WordPress - capital W and capital P. In normal conversation or comments it doesn't really matter much, but with a whole blog dedicated to using and pimping it, I think it would be nice to set a good example by using the actual name of the package.

I thought they were coming down hard on people using wordpress in their domain names ... I'd backup daily - if you aren't doing it now, just in case

Gee whiz, I hope not! I certainly don't mean any harm by it. I truly am a fan of WordPress and want to help the community like I was helped along the way.

I do have a regular backup plan instituted already though;)

I am reading the long thread now and will investigate further. I may even contact Automattic directly. I sure would hate to have to change everything I've set up up so far...

I noticed that footer "WordPress Modder is not affiliated with or sponsored by Automattic, Inc. or the WordPress ® Open Source project. WordPress ® is a trademark of Automattic, Inc." .. was that requested? or something you did yourself? It's a nice touch - just in case "S.H.T.F" (sh*t hits the fan)

It wasn't requested, I put that in there myself after seeing it suggested in a thread about this subject. (sorry can't remember where at the moment).
