Is your blog less than a month old? Show me your URL, I'd like to check it out. What's your blogging experience been like so far? My blog is 2 months old and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I can barely remember my preblogging life.

When days were old and men were bold
and blogs were not invented, men slept at night
It felt just right and breakdowns were prevented!

Actually, it's been kinda fun getting my blog up and running. It beats actually having to sit here at my desk and work!

Great little poem on the spot! I can especially relate to, '...men slept at night' as I stay up way too late bumbling around my blog. I enjoyed your posts. They made me think.
    2. MichaelATL43
Why thank you! I too enjoyed your post today. You have style. I admire that!
  2. MeghnaK
That is interesting. Within 2 months, you've lost memories of pre-blogging era.
Though I'm not experienced, I thought it apt to inform you about my blog as it is on 'creative writing':

"Delve into the Mind of A Budding Blogger"

By the way, you've got very interesting posts in your blog.
    1. EavesdropWriter
Thanks, MeghnaK. I enjoyed your story, "A Ghost All Around Her!". Very nice work! You must be a busy young lady keeping up with school, friends and blogging all at once.

I have a newborn blog that also concerns a newborn called Art Dada - artdada.blogspot.com/

It's new but I've been blogging for a while.

I remember my preblogging life. I can also remember watching movies on VHS and writing on a typewriter.

You're a creative guy, FlyingFader! Loved your Megadeath onesie.

Intense fight video! I like you header...Avril LaVigne, right?

Cool idea! I especially liked #18, and I have not read "The Phantom Tollbooth". Even though I'm not a kid anymore, I'm going to read it!

I've been blogging for several years, but my newest one (which is actually a joint project with my husband) is beginning to take over my life!

This project began when we decided to scan the thousands of old photos that we have (prints and slides) to create a digital archive for ourselves and our family. So many of the travel ones -- and the underwater ones, especially -- brought back clear memories of some very interesting experiences, so we decided to start the blog as a way to share both the photos and the stories that went with them.

We've been having so much fun reviewing these old photos, and our travel journals and dive logs, that we've both been neglecting our 'real' work recently. Maybe it's time to retire and spend all of our time with The Right Blue.

The blog is now 2 months old.

I'm in love your blue site Did you say u've been diving somewhere near Dubrovnik too ?
    4. bnsullivan
No, djumbox, I said on that other thread that I had visited Dubrovnik, and also Sveti Stefan not far from there, but I have never been diving anywhere in the Adriatic. Snorkeling yes, diving there, no. (Not sure why.)
    5. EavesdropWriter
Wow, talk about adventure. I love your blog and its design/scheme. I especially liked your "Salem Express" stories. I cannot imagine being inside a ship wreck. I think I might freak and drown. Luckily, brave people like you take photos when you dive!

I've been working on mine for a week or two. Blogging can be addicting, I think. Here's my link:

You have a great niche with medical transcriptions. I have to ask, do you ever find yourself developing psychosomatic symptoms after transcribing them so much? Or can you just ignore?

    and

    www.dreamsanalysed.blogspot.com

    These are both fairly new

My blogging experience is re my blogs and more recently recruited as pro blogger.

I pro blog for two sites, one exclusively (I am sole blogger) and other I am one of two headhunted (to my knowledge) and the rest go though an application proceedure.

I love to blog, I am truely blogging bonkers!
    1. EavesdropWriter
Your two blogs are quite different from each other! I have a dumb recurring dream where I am a high school senior again and fail a class but don't tell my parents until grad day that I'm not eligible. I finished high school 20 years ago! I have the dream maybe once or twice a year. Go figure.

Your background is so very peaceful. I want to be there! I enjoyed your "Surrender Dorothy" post. What great lessons. (I also love Ventura Highway!)

Mine was originally born on Blogger last year, then I abandoned it, then it was reincarnated on WordPress back January. It was kinda quiet for a while, but I started updating it regularly over the summer. It's about many things, probably always will be....

I had a look at your blog earlier today. Very nice -- and you're a great writer. I'll be a regular visitor.
    2. afewgoodpens
bnsullivan ... thank you for your comment and compliment, I really do appreciate it. I looked at your site therightblue.com/ earlier and again a few minutes ago, love it and added it to my rss feeds and blogroll. It's under Science and Nature, here:

Will be visiting you often, for sure.

      Thanks again,

You have some nice critical thinking going on. I like how you built a post from a reader's comment and incorporated some multi-media. I would just suggest changing the color of your header title font because it gets lost in your photo. You mention some upcoming changes to you blog, so maybe that's under construction. And I'm glad you can relate to my amnesia!
  11. afewgoodpens
Oh ... also ... you wrote:

"I can barely remember my preblogging life."

    Holy crap, I can't either!

We started just one month ago, two friends, descendants of homesteaders, blogging.

    www.HomesteadOrigins.com

We have so many stories to share that it will take years before we have nothing to blog. Oh my!
    1. EavesdropWriter
Very nice blog! Rich in ancestral history. I enjoyed your 'story teller' page.

Hi, I discovered your blog yesterday and took in your 'keywords research' post. You offer some great tips, like hyperlinking photos back to your blog. I would suggest adding an RSS subscribe icon and Technorati fave link towards the top of your blog, if you're interested in subscribers and building your rank. Good luck!
    2. umesh
      thank you Eavesdropwrite.
I will implement your suggestions soon.

Great! Your 'Fast Times' post brought back memories and I left a long-winded comment! I like your writing and clean design. Have you thought about displaying a blog title and description for search engine optimization? Also along the lines of readership, you might like to add a social bookmarking option for your viewers (especially since you're in the college scene) or a subscribe by email option as opposed to RSS only. You may know all about that already, but if not here are a couple links with options:

Thanks for the suggestion. ^^ Just finished setting up feedburner and I'm making the subscribe button more visible.
