I have been writing a blog all about fashion:
buyingdesignerclothes.wordpress.com

It has only been up and running for about 6 weeks. It wasnt up when the last Google update happened. Yesterday, i went to check my blog and found it had a PR3. Bizarre! It has just appeared. Then, when i check it this morning, sometimes it shows "no pagerank information available" and other times it shows the PR3. Can anyone explain this? Is this my true pagerank? Or is it Google teasing me before the next update and giving me an indication of what my pagerank could be when the next update happens?!!

Please help!

thanks

yup believe it. Mine also goes to zero sometimes though it is usually at 4. I think this is a problem with the PR tracker more than the PR itself.

    that's what I see on your blog - PR3 and Alexa 19,529,844

I'm dying for some pagerank... feel lucky with yours.

building PR is easy; it doesn't bring traffic though. I can testify to that. My modeling blog that I rarely update is PR2 and I don't have any organic traffic on it, all referral

basically it indicates your site's authority about certain topic or niche, update regularly and build more targeted one way incoming links, that will help.

I'd say just keep posting and keep waiting.

Every 3 months, Google should reward you if you keep posting. I haven't done much promotion and I seem to get a point every now and then.

My score went fron 0 to 2 quickly, then back to 0. A few months later I got a 1. Then 3 months later a Pr 2.

    I'm expecting a Pr3 next, in a few weeks.

If I don't get it, I'll hack into Google and change it myself ! lol
