Non-English songs inspired by real women?

I have been inspired by ophase's post/discussion about the songs that have been inspired by real women: www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/entry/love-songs-inspired-by-real-women to make a short blog entry about it at my own new-created-blog (www.mrsbloginternational.com/2009/04/06/songs-inspired-by-women/).

But since I am internationally oriented, wonder if you know any NON-ENGLISH songs or music from past centuries that apply under this category?

    Sorry I misunderstood the question. There are many songs like that. Beethoven's Symphony No. 8 in F Major, Op. 93; Bach's Minuet in G major, Chopin's pieces: www.activemusician.com/item--AL.00-251
