Now that you know what you know about the opposite sex, will you go do it all over again?

Ladies, now that you know what you know now, would you have wasted your time on foolish love affairs
that went no-where?

Gentlemen, now that you know what you know, would you still look for that quick lay even if you know it's a trap?

What is there to gain by these relationships?

Is there anything to gain from these types of relationships?

Do you feel like you have wasted your precious time?

Have you grown from these relationships and actually learned something?

What is your idea of courting?

What was your funniest dating experience?

What was your most painful dating experience?

Where are you now in your relationships?

Answer only what you feel like answering.

In a heartbeat. For all the heartbreak and pain of my past relationships, I learned a lot from each of those experiences, and they helped shape who I am today.

Funniest dating experience: picking up a girl for a date and being met by her father on the porch, cleaning his rifle. It was, interestingly enough, coincidence -- he'd just come back from hunting, and didn't even know she had a date with a boy.

Now, I'm in a comfortable relationship with a fascinating young woman.

@GabrielGadfly..cleaning his rifle..oh my God, that relationship would have ended that instant for me, especially if that rifle was filled with rock salt. I applaud you for seeing it though.

    Which opposite sex?

Ladies, now that you know what you know now, would you have wasted your time on foolish love affairs that went no-where?
    Nope.

Gentlemen, now that you know what you know, would you still look for that quick lay even if you know it's a trap?
I had no quick lays as a gentleman.

What is there to gain by these relationships?
Good stories to tell the kids when they grow up.

Is there anything to gain from these types of relationships?
    See previous question.

Do you feel like you have wasted your precious time?
    Sure. As what?

Have you grown from these relationships and actually learned something?
    Sure. Every one of them.

What is your idea of courting?
    A tennis match.

What was your funniest dating experience?
When I upstaged a San Francisco diva who asked a guy if he wanted her and he said, "No. I want HER!" (pointing to me)

What was your most painful dating experience?
Dating a television director who wouldn't help me when I needed him.

Where are you now in your relationships?
Living with a boyfriend of 6 years, and potentially another girl with him.

Answer only what you feel like answering.
    Always.

Ladies, now that you know what you know now, would you have wasted your time on foolish love affairs that went no-where? They helped form who I am now.

What is there to gain by these relationships? Knowledge about yourself.

Do you feel like you have wasted your precious time? No

Have you grown from these relationships and actually learned something? God, I hope so!

What was your most painful dating experience? Whoa, that's an article in itself.

Where are you now in your relationships? Ready for whatever comes.

@searchwithin...very nice you are at a good place now.

Hope so, it took a lot of inner work to get there.
    3. Jeunelle

I guess you could have made 10 threads with these great ideas jeunelle. In India love, sex ,dating kissing etc etc all are much different from what you have in western countries. The love life here may not be very interesting but the family set up is very strong in India.(family breaks very rarely)
    1. Jeunelle
vijayanths....that's what I admire about families in India.
The culture is family based, the sole core backbone of strength in relationships.

    Jeune-elle,
I like your subjects. Im not too interested in flings, even though I still have a horniness meter. That wasnt your question? Never mind then.

    Vija,
India doesnt have an Edward Bernays?
    1. Jeunelle
harveyavatar....Hey you answered the question just fine, it sounded truthful.
    2. Jeunelle
Edward Bernays...I haven't heard of him
