Now that you own a site do you find yourself noticing ads on other sites 1000x more?

Now that you own a site do you find yourself noticing ads on other sites 1000x more? Short answer for me is yes. Especially well established and known websites. I am suprised at the amount of google adsense they have plastered everywhere that I never noticed before.

    Sometimes. Most sites I visit regularly have very few ads.

    Personally,I've encountered two extremes on the sites that I've visited: sites with a modest few ads and those with a blaring cascade of ads, pop-ups, etc. But in reply to your first question: no, I haven't noticed a greater number of ads, but have noticed more pop-ups lately.

    FWIW this thread you resurrected dates back to 7/18/08 and the member who posted it has not checked into BC for 3 months.

    I tried to avoid sites with ads.
    If there ARE a few modest ads, I don't close the blog but I don't read the ads either.
