    Hah!! This thread is LIVE! You guys are throwing out some great ones. I wasn't much of a hip hop fan back in the day (gasp!), as you can tell, I was more into alternative and rock (my boyfriend was in a rock band, crazy memories). But I think my first love for hip hop came around with Slick Rick - I looooooooove Children's Story, that is one of the tightest beats in history, IMO.
