In my humble opinion he was one of the best blues/jazz
gutartist on the planet. He's with the angles now.
I wonder if any of our American friends heard of him.

Jeff Healey: I'm sorry to read of his passing.
Sorry to say I don't know much about his work. I'm more familiar with the era of Jimi Hendrix, another guitarist whose music wasn't too bad. -
Jeff Healey is well known in the U.S. I actually didn't know he was Canadian until I followed your link.

I saw him perform once, he was amazing. Great guy, amazing sense of humour and very down to earth .. and extremely talented.

My husband and I were lucky enough to see him live a number of times. It wasn't just his music that made him special, he truly was/is a genuinely beautiful human being.
Funny story:
A few years ago he was at a celebrity golf tournament to preform, but he wanted to have some fun with everyone there and insisted on taking a golf cart for a drive around the course to tease all the people golfing.
Why is that funny you ask....Jeff Healey was blind!
