I was heating up some food and then watched TV.
    Totally forgot about it.

Next thing i knew, the food dried up, burned a hole on my wok and had a small Boom! My kitchen turned black and smoke puffing out.

Had to explain to my parents what happened, and had to repaint the walls and ceiling the next day. Bummer.

Valentines night and the restaurant ran out of 4 of the 5 entrees on the set menu....All that was left was chicken. 1998 My resturant.

One night a lady came to the coat check (with a ticket) but there was no full lenght mink coat to give out. It had be stolen, (by one of the employees) and after putting my pink panther nose to the test I went to his house to find him walking the dog and wearing the coat....Absolutely TRUE story

    ordered pizza with anchovies

Oh man, that sucks, anchovies were originally invented as part of some ancient torture to dehydrate people, and then some idiot decided they should be stuck on pizza

I was trying to make a hard boiled egg. I got distracted, wound up leaving the house. When I got back the eggs had exploded and were splattered all over the ceiling. My mom was so mad.

Another time I was heating up those instant noodles that come in those cups. I forgot to add water and also put it in the microwave for too long. It caught fire. Again, my mom was pretty upset.

Another time I was frying chicken and the stove caught fire. *sigh*

I assume since leaving home you've learned from these little mistakes? Does you mother experiment with new wall coverings at your place now?

Well Carl. I have most certainly learned my lesson. Cleaning egg off the ceiling is a lesson I shall never forget. My mom made sure I got all of it off.

So here is my story about living in a quaint apartment above a restaurant. One summer day we smelled something absolutely fierce. We had no idea what it was or where it was coming from. Three weeks and many gag reflexes later, we discovered that a delivery truck had left some fish in a storage area and forgot to tell the restaurant owners. Yes, it was disgusting.

global...thats horrible. do you eat fish? sushi
    2. globalgirl
      I l-o-v-e SUSHI!

but trust me, the fish was left outside in the sweltering heat and the smell was enough to gag anyone. It was putrid. Absolutely putrid.
