I don't really watch mutch TV ,but lately in the headlines of Yahoo has been some bustle about Oprah canceling or not allowing certain guests on her show because they have curently pending domestic violence cases against them. Notably; Chris Brown (who beat his girlfriend, Rihanna) and BeBe Winans (the gospel singer who is facing domestic violence charges from his wife).
Do you think Oprah should discriminate against her guests, who may just want to tell their side of the story? Is this just a way for her to please her investors or fans? Do you think she's being overly judgemental...holier than thou...?

I think she's in charge of who she invites on her program. It's not discrimination, because no one has a 'right' to be on Oprah.

I agree. Apparently Oprah spoke up about this when Chris Brown said he was offended and felt Oprah didn't allow him to tell his side of the story. She stated she takes domestic violence very seriously and only hoped that he received the best help out there. Maybe she feels that if she were to have them on the show, it would be like her condoning their behavior.
