I have a photo blog www.pixelshots.blogspot.com what are the ways to optimize it for the search engine crawlers.

i have already adde meta tags for the posts and alt tab content for the photos. Hmm they works, eventhough i gets a problem.

when i give a search with keyword pixelshots google asks if it is pixel shots and displays a site named ultrapixelshots at first.
why google behaving so?

Even they hav my site indexed in their db as pixelshots why they displaying ultrapixelshots at first for my site keyword.

This felt strange to me and do you people have an answer for this, and any other ways than meta and alt tabs for optimizing for search engines...

First of all, don't post your link in the discussion because your post will be removed. Post great contents in your blog because search engine crawlers love contents. Do not simply copy & paste contents from other sites. Google search engine doesn't care about meta tags anymore, and I'm sure other search engines such as Yahoo and MSN don't either.

Search engines love backlinks. If your blog is great, people will link to it which gives your blog more credibility and authority. Lets say Google.com posts your link in their front page, you would have all the credibility and authority in the world!
