Our First Saturday Night Cocktail Party!

You all are formally invited Half Hour Meals to help us celebrate BlogCatalog’s newest site designed to make our live's easier by sharing recipes, cooking tips and good company.
Date: Saturday September 26, 2009
Time: 8PM – 11PM EST (perhaps later)

We encourage all our party people to write a blog for this Saturday September 26, 2009, describe what you plan to wear, which recipes you will be bringing to share with our guests, along with some photos too.
Plus … post a smallish photo right at the party. We want you to bring an appetizer, treats and friends.
You will be encouraged to link your Saturday post, so all can see your (photos of clothes) party frocks (they can be on hangers) or just the recipes of your drinks for the party.
Please pass the word. Bring new members to Half Hour Meals. They can be your party guests. Let's see what a BUZZ we can create come party time.
We'll share a good time and get to introduce ourselves to a lot of members who are not members over here at BlogCatalog.
Just received our liquor license so BYOB means just that. Wine, Liquor, Beer and Exotic Drinks. Cocktail Conversation, Fun to be had by all and Nothing Controversial here! Everyone Welcome!

For me they aren't. I never wear any.

You may wear whatever you choose or don't choose to wear. We'll only see your avatar anyway. You might however, look charming dressed in a cowboy outfit.

My cooking abilities are almost non-existent so I will be there mostly just to listen and hopefully find a VERY easy recipe I can make for dinner next week.-
Ive made a toasted cheese sandwich before. I think this is more about cocktails than food.

Oh Oscar, you can bring wine or some beer. Even sodas are a good choice. We always need mixers.

I am so happy I won't have to find a designated driver. The last one drove worse than a drunk and had no sense of directions.-
You can party via keyboard and have a blast. Don't worry about getting speeding tickets or DWI's. You know, this could be the new way to party. Put some dance music or jazz on, pour yourself whatever your choice of drink is and mingle with the party crowd.

I will bring the jack daniels. Oh an a suckling pig. I have ao but 15 of them how many do I need to bring. lol-

I will give you one and you can dress it up and all. They are cute at this age but this the age for roast suckling pig (I dont sell them for that)

I admit I have a very hard time between the Old MacDonald Farm Animals and the meat in the grocery store. I wish I had been raised a vegetarian.

Sure you can attend because it is virtual meaning we're meeting up just as we do right here. You might be drinking tea or coffee while we will be drinking drinks with tiny umbrellas.

I.m pretty sure the party can reach you in Indonesia. The worldwide web is a pretty large place. Now, if your service provider didn't reach the moon and you had a place there, that could be a problem.
Even in that case, you could always resort to the old standby, astral projection. A little old school but always a favorite with traditionalists.-
Since you brought up the moon (it is mine of course) the other day my husband and I were looking at moon photos and I asked, "Is that water underneath the surface honey?" to which he replied, "No, there isn't any water on the moon." I almost thought he would pat me on the head!
Tonight's news reports there is in fact much water under the moons surface. Ha! I was right. Wait til he gets home.
I am going to prepare a brandied ice which a really cool drink.
