Our Social Networking Icons, what attracts you?

We all have these 50x50 icon / images that we take everywhere we go...and not only in BC.
When you're looking at dozens in front of you is there any particular style you are most likely to click on?
Animations vs photos, attractive vs not so, bold contrasting logos?
Perhaps you have a target audience so you aim for those, woman, men, young, old etc?
What is most likely to get your click? If anything?
