Um ... I rarely drink. I had half a cocktail recently for a vodka review I did, but before that I hadn't had a drink for more than 6 months.

Oops, you're right, Unfettered. I switched from Gin to Vodka some time ago and forgot about the Juniper Berries. Anyhow, it's been a lot of years since I have been a "Good Ol' Boy," a two fisted drinker. It's now been steady as she goes for a long, long time.

When I drink, I really drink! Like 10 or more units average. But I'm on a diet now so, I am trying to avoid alcohol...

Not many any more ... a couple of glasses of wine or beer a week.

Back in my younger days however, I was partying and drinking a lot more, and was "good" at it as well. One of the evening/nights I count like 50 units of alcohol from about 18.00 PM to 07 AM.
A bottle of Vodka, beer, other shots of various kinds. Still was able to walk home, and unfortunately remember all of the night as well :o

A year??? Mind you, I didn't drink for six months once and it was ok. The recommended number of units per week is 15.

A day? I guess it would average out to something like three drops. Maybe. I definitely don't lie to my doctor, but I'm hard put to come up with an accurate number. I'd guess it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-12 drinks/year.

One or two glass of wine on Friday...other than that it depends on who is around and what is happening...
I'm not much of a drinker intentionally...alcoholism "runs" in my family on both sides!

Two Vodka Martinis a day--no more, no less--shaken, not stirred. (It's a health drink--juniper berries, great for your kidneys. George Burns drank 3 Martinis a day till the day he died at age 101.)

I drink maybe once every couple'a months? Pre kid I would drink quite a bit, every weekend I'd have at least a few drinks, maybe more.

But since I've got a mini-me, I don't have the time, energy, or money to drink.

Units? I don't know about that.

I drink 2-3 times a week. It's usually beer and have about 8 beers. I also like Jager and Bacardi.

Do you lie to your doc about the number of units of alcohol you drink? I have done and he always gives me a knowing (yeah like I believe you drink the exact limit per week) look.

Show me a doctor who drinks below the recommended number of units and I'll be impressed!
