   I try not to get obsessed with it because it isn't everything. Yeah, it is a great way to see your status as far as Google goes, but there are a lot of other sites, search engines, etc that don't use PageRank. Same goes for the Alexa ranking.
   
   More or less, I just use them as tools to help myself see progress.

   I have PR6 on a couple blogs and some PR5s but I've never really noticed any difference in the Google traffic from the time they had PR0s to what they have now.

   Alexa is.. pr is just another signal for Google from more than 250 other signals that google receives from a site.
